Our History

The actual restaurant La Tienda Bistronomique is situated in the center of Marbella, in the heart of charming residence “Urbanication La Virginia”.

La Tienda was created in the Urbanization of La Virginia as a part of this residence and was initially for the residents. The space was imagined as a meeting point  where to drink, to discuss, get the personal mail or to buy the potatoes.

La Tienda is one of the oldest restaurants-bar in Marbella established in 1971.  Making part of “Urbanization of La Virginia” La Tienda” was  builded by plan of one of the most famous architect of this time in Urbanization since it’s beginning .

You can come and discover this wonderfull, most intimate and private atmosphere in Marbella. Actually , ​it’s became one of the most romantic and hidden gem in Marbella. During the years the visitors from all over the world organize their private events in La Tienda.

Elegant interior and design

The name of La Tienda means “La Boutique” situated in the heart of the most charming Residence La Virginia in centre of Marbella.  The place was initially created being the meeting point where all the residents of La Virginia can get their mail, buy potatoes, flour and other things you need everyday. It was the place where you could sit down to have a drink, read the books or discuss with your neighbour.

La Tienda had a lot of success and many famous people came in.  Later the decor changed to give more privacy and become like a place where people could also share their meal. The “red” colour of La Tienda was taken from Parisian decoration concept of 70’s “Boudoir” and the last owners gave to La Tienda the Parisian Touch.

What is bistronomique

Revisited French traditional kitchen this is that you can taste in our restaurant. In la Tienda you meet the gastronomie in bistro style.

​From the confiture to the condiment, all our ingredients are homemade and prepared “à la minute”.

​What is Bistronomique ? The term was created in 2003 during the Food Week in Paris which allow to the small restaurant to offer the high quality of kitchen. ​

Essential but various menu

Our small but reach in terms of taste and full of discovery menu based on the traditional french kitchen.

Mainly our vegetables and fruits come from the local products. The concept called by Chef, Emiliano D’Alessandro ” mileage zero” which means to use the wealth of the region with the favorable conditions of the climate and respecting the seasons.

The main mission of our restaurant is to prepare you the best and surprising selection of vegetable garden…

Our Chef

​Born Argentinian with Italian roots, his heart belongs to Paris. With an Italian grandma he was inspired since the childhood by the homemade traditional cuisine. Directly from his long experience in Paris , he runs La Tienda since 2016.

Like Parisians do he likes to walk in his “Converse”  around with his eyes wide open. Ask him whats he know about Paris, and he can talk to you all about this city.

Graduated in Paris from Cordon Bleu School, he works for the most famous groups of high culinary and gourmet cuisine like POTEL&CHABOT. He shares his passion with a chocolate, after the diploma from LE NÔTRE as a “Chocolatier”, he cooks his own chocolate in La Tienda.

The mission of the Chef:

To mix the base of the french traditional kitchen with modernity using local products. With the respect of the  the season he works in the way ” FAIT MAISON”  which means homemade.
