What a gem. Outstanding little French restaurant in beautiful hamlet. Well worth a detour from the chaos of the coast and if you enjoy quality rich French food. Thankfully no small children on other tables to disturb the peace! Foie gras shared for starter was excellent and the tuna tartare and chicken delicious. Not bad value either for Marbella, although wine list a bit pricey. We will be back!
We had dinner last week at La Tienda and it was excellent. I really recommend the Foie gras that was divine and the tuna tartare. The food was delicious and the wine recommended by our host just perfect. The place is lovely and become magical when the night arrives. It is nice to be able to eat in a quiet place, thing that is not possible in marbella, it is always too noisy. I am looking forward to come back and try another dish from the French Cuisine Menu.
Fantastic place. Everything from the premises, the ruby red room, the outside cosy tables, the alley with the flowers, the friendly staff and not least the food. I had lobster to start with, lamb with a fantastic Bourgogne, desert, rum, coffee and everything. We were four friends and shared a bit of the starters so tried a lot of the food. This little place is just as French as it gets, just missing the French music and maybe Edit Piaff to do a solo in the corner. You have to come here while you're in Marbella! Magnifique!
Undoubtedly the best meal we have eaten in Marbella. Every course was served with an explanation of where the food was from, and how it was prepared. The French chef and his wife, cook and serve their food so enthusiastic you can't help but enjoy your food.
A little more expensive than the run of the mill restaurants in Marbella but well worth it. Beautiful small intimate eating areas.
If you want good quality French food this place is a must go to restaurant. Go by taxi as you my find it difficult to find.
We will certainly be going back again. Thank you again for a lovely meal and evening.
